Bondage + Skills = Hot

Why do people tie each other up?  I get thinking about this with our Lee Harrington class, Rope Sex: Bondage For Lovemaking & More coming up tomorrow, April 7th.

That question has many various answers depending on who you ask.  But many rope bondage scenes have less to do with fancy knots and much more to do with the energy exchange you share with your play partner.

In a world where we're constantly rushing and want a quick fix kind of sex, ropes require time, patience, focus and care.  Through a thoughtful bondage scene or any bdsm play, one can find spiritual energy and often meditative states.   Even if you've never thought of yourself as kinky, think of the pleasure you might get from holding someone down in bed, or how free you might feel while someone's holding you restrained.  These power dynamics can be scary and powerful, but that power can be used for pleasure and empowerment.

And sometimes it's just fun to tie someone up.

Skeptical?  Come to class tomorrow night or learn more from Lee Harrington online, in his writings or at Kink Academy.
